A chateau and a cathedral

The Wombat went to France last week! He travelled by ferry from Portsmouth to Saint Malo, but we don't have any pictures of him actually on the ferry because he's too scared to go out on deck just in case something nasty happens to him.
We can't really blame him, since one of his brethren fell off the back of a ferry crossing the Irish Sea and was never seen again.

He spent most of his holiday in the city of Nantes (and the rest going around the wine sections of various supermarkets).
Here he is in front of the Château des ducs de Bretagne (Castle of the Dukes of Brittany), which these days is home to the Museum of Nantes.
 

And here he is again, admiring the 15th century cathedral.
