Bobbing around Cardiff Bay

The song is true as far as The Wombat is concerned - there's always a welcome for him in the hillside and the vales. He was very happy to pay another visit to Cardiff (read about his previousone) and decided to explore Cardiff Bay.

He thought about taking a boat trip, but he really isn't sure about the water. There were ducks in it. Ducks scare him.


The Wombat watches quite a bit of TV, and he recognised this landmark from watching Doctor Who and especially Torchwood (IMDB link).


Scenes from Doctor Who were filmed here too, but it's better known as the Senedd, the home of the National Assembly for Wales.


He'd fallen into a bin right before the last photo was taken (he does like posing in dangerous places). Here he at risking of falling into the bay, looking over towards the Norwegian church where Roald Dahl was christened.
